To further optimise the thermal insulation of the loft ladder Arctic Fire, you can install an ISO top cover on the hatch frame. The cover is 87 mm thick and reduces the U-value from 0.21 to 0.14 W/m²K. With this excellent insulation, you can reliably protect your home from any heat loss.

Like the staircase, the ISO top cover for the Arctic Fire is available in the dimensions 110×70, 120×60, 120×70, 130×70 and 140×70 cm. Please ensure that you buy the stairs and the top cover in the same size so that they fit together. The top cover cannot be used in combination with the staircase extension for metal staircases!

To attach the top cover to your staircase, you simply need to screw the two elements together using hinges. You can then use the gas pressure damper to automatically open the cover backwards. However, a certain amount of swivel range must be available for this.
