The ISO top cover plus 33 for the attic staircase Type 15 Exklusiv is 33 mm thick. It allows the U-value of the staircase to be reduced from 1.3 W/m²K to 0.7 W/m²K. This means that hardly any heat or cold can pass through the material. When purchasing, please ensure that the frame size of your loft ladder matches the size of the top cover.

To install the top cover, simply screw the hinges to the hatch frame of the staircase. If you attach the lift levers to the top cover and the stair frame, the top cover can be opened backwards automatically. The only exception to this is the 120×60 cm size. Here you can only open the lid manually to the side. A chain prevents the cover from opening as far as it will go.
